Our Private Flower Workshops are intimate, hands-on experiences designed for one or two guests who want to slow down, create something beautiful, and spend meaningful time together. Whether it's a date, a birthday gift, a mother–daughter outing, or simply an excuse to reconnect with a friend, each workshop is thoughtfully tailored to the people attending.

Choose from a bouquet, centrepiece, or flower crown workshop, then personalize the experience with a floral palette that reflects your style. From soft seasonal blooms and romantic garden florals to bold, vibrant colours, moody textures, lush roses, or tropical-inspired designs, every workshop is created with your vision in mind.

After booking, we'll work directly with you, or your gift recipient, to select the workshop style, colour palette, and preferred date. On the day of your workshop, you'll be welcomed into the May Flowers studio, where our designers will guide you through each step using premium blooms and professional floral techniques.

No experience is necessary, just a love of flowers and a willingness to create.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a unique way to spend an afternoon, our Private Flower Workshops offer a beautiful opportunity to learn, connect, and leave with something made by hand.

Workshops are held at our studio at 3-1800 Davenport Road.

Floral Substitution Policy

Our flowers are always designed with a unique, weekly rotating floral selection, so no specific flowers can be guaranteed. Our colour palettes are intentionally vague to reflect this.

Specific floral requests or colours cannot be guaranteed unless specifically stated in your order.

Delivery Policy

We deliver Monday–Saturday and can accommodate same-day delivery up to 12pm. Exact times cannot be guaranteed, and surprise deliveries come with some risk. Please review our full Delivery Policy for details on timing, address accuracy, and delivery responsibilities.

Refunds & Cancellations

At May Flowers, every order is thoughtfully prepared using fresh, seasonal product. Because of the nature of flowers and our sourcing process, we operate on a store credit–only policy. Please review the details below before placing your order.

  • We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or postponements.

Weather Conditions

Weather conditions may affect our delivery process. During the summer, flowers may have a shorter lifespan due to heat, so our driver will place them in a shaded area whenever possible. In winter, if the temperature falls below 0°C, there is a risk of flowers freezing. In such cases, we will do our best to find a neighbor who can accept the delivery instead. A notification will be sent once the flowers have been delivered. To keep them fresh, please retrieve your flowers as soon as possible.

What kind of flowers do you use?

We work with a rotating selection of the best seasonal blooms available. This means your arrangement will always feel fresh, intentional, and true to the moment—rather than tied to a fixed recipe.

Will my arrangement look exactly like the photo?

Our photos reflect our style and scale, but every arrangement is designed individually. Variations in flowers, colour tones, and textures are part of what makes each piece unique. We cannot replicate past orders.

Can I request specific flowers or colours?

You’re welcome to leave notes at checkout, and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on seasonal availability. While we can’t guarantee specific blooms, we always design within the spirit of your request.

How far in advance should I order?

We recommend ordering at least 1–2 days in advance for the best selection, especially during busy seasons or holidays. Same-day delivery may be available in limited quantities.

Can you guarantee a delivery time?

We’re unable to guarantee exact delivery times. If you require a timed delivery, please contact us in advance for a custom courier quote.

What if the recipient isn’t home?

While surprises are fun, we can’t be responsible for failed deliveries due to inaccessible buildings, incorrect addresses, or unavailable recipients. Please make sure delivery details are accurate and the location is safe to leave flowers.

How should I care for my flowers?

Trim stems, refresh water daily, and keep arrangements away from direct sunlight or heat. Care instructions are included with every order.
