Wedding Flowers - Your Questions Answered

Planning a wedding comes with a million questions — and when it comes to flowers, we’ve heard them all. Whether you’re just starting to think about your floral vision or deep into the Pinterest board phase, we’re here to help. Here are answers to the most common questions couples ask us about wedding flowers.

1. When Should I Book My Wedding Florist?

We recommend booking your wedding florist 6–12 months in advance, especially if your date falls during peak wedding season (May–September). That said, we’ve also pulled together beautiful weddings on a shorter timeline — so don’t hesitate to reach out.

Pro Tip: The earlier you book, the better chance we have at securing specific blooms or custom touches you may want.

2. How Much Do Wedding Flowers Cost?

Wedding flower costs vary based on your guest count, venue, floral preferences, and overall vision. On average, our full-service wedding clients spend between $6000–$10,000, while à la carte weddings typically fall between $1000–$5000.

We always work within your budget and provide transparent pricing after your consultation.

3. What If My Favourite Flower Is Out of Season?

Don’t worry — we’ve got you. While some blooms (like peonies or dahlias) have limited growing seasons, our designers can suggest beautiful alternatives that capture a similar vibe. We’ll always prioritize seasonal, fresh flowers to ensure your arrangements are lush, long-lasting, and stunning in person and in photos.

4. What’s the Process Like?

Here’s how it works:

  1. Inquiry & Consultation – You tell us about your wedding style, colours, and must-haves.

  2. Custom Proposal – We create a mood board and quote tailored to your event.

  3. Booking & Planning – Once you’re booked in, we fine-tune all the details.

  4. Execution Day – We deliver, install, and make everything bloom to perfection.

5. Do You Offer Setup, Tear Down, and Rentals?

Yes! Our full-service floral design includes delivery, setup, and tear down so you don’t have to lift a finger on your big day. We also offer rentals like vases, arches, candleholders, and bud vases to elevate your tablescapes and ceremony setup.

6. Can I Just Order a Few Bouquets or Centerpieces?

Absolutely. Our à la carte wedding flowers are perfect for intimate weddings, city hall celebrations, or elopements. You can order essentials like:

  • Bridal & bridesmaid bouquets

  • Boutonnieres & corsages

  • Ceremony arrangements

  • Reception centrepieces

This option skips the full design process and allows you to choose from our signature styles and colours.

7. Can You Repurpose Ceremony Flowers for the Reception?

Yes — and we love making your flowers work hard! Many of our couples repurpose aisle flowers for their sweetheart table or use ceremony pillars as a photo backdrop. We’re happy to help design a flow that maximizes your florals throughout the day.

8. Do You Offer Delivery, Setup, and Tear Down?

Yes — all of our full-service weddings include setup and tear down. For à la carte weddings, we offer delivery or studio pickup depending on your needs. We’ll make sure your flowers arrive in perfect condition.

9. Do You Provide Arches, Vessels, or Rentals?

We have a curated selection of vessels, candleholders, compote bowls, bud vases, and arches for rent. This helps elevate your tablescapes or ceremony setup without you having to purchase and store anything.

10. Will You Work With My Planner, Venue, or Other Vendors?

Yes! We love collaborating with planners, stylists, photographers, and venues. If you're working with a wedding planner, we’ll coordinate closely to make sure everything runs smoothly.

11. How Many Bouquets, Boutonnieres, and Centerpieces Do I Need?

Here’s a general breakdown:

  • 1 bouquet per bride/bridesmaid

  • 1 boutonniere per groom/groomsman/father

  • 1-2 arrangements for the ceremony

  • 1 centerpiece per table

  • Optional: corsages, welcome table florals, flower girl petals, signage flowers, bar arrangements

Don’t worry, we’ll help you figure out what’s essential and what’s extra.

12. Can I See a Mockup or Sample Before the Wedding?

We offer mockups for full-service clients, typically closer to the wedding date once seasonal availability is confirmed. It’s a great way to preview your palette and make final adjustments.
