But what does it really take to go from an idea to a room full of flowers?

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at our process: from mood board to event day execution.

Step 1: Inspiration and Mood Boards

Every project starts with inspiration. We spend time understanding the event, the client’s style, and the atmosphere they want to create.

This often involves reviewing colours, textures, and themes. Once we have a sense of the direction, we craft a mood board, a visual story that brings the concept to life. It’s a mix of sketches, fabric swatches, colour palettes, and floral references that captures the essence of the event. This step ensures that everyone is aligned before we even start sourcing flowers.

Step 2: Sourcing the Perfect Flowers

With the mood board as our guide, we begin sourcing flowers that fit both the vision and the season.

This is one of the most exciting parts of the process when we're discovering blooms that speak to the concept while keeping an eye on availability and quality. We select flowers not just for their beauty, but for their texture, shape, and longevity, ensuring they will shine from setup to the final moment of the event.

Step 3: Design and Mockups

Once the flowers are secured, our team starts experimenting with arrangements. For larger events, we often create mockups of key pieces to visualize scale, colour balance, and composition. This step allows us to refine details and make adjustments, ensuring each arrangement feels cohesive within the overall design.

Step 4: Prepping and Assembling

Event day success starts long before the first guest arrives. Our team meticulously conditions and preps every stem, ensuring optimal hydration and freshness.

 Arrangements are partially assembled ahead of time when possible, with transport and setup logistics carefully planned. Attention to detail is critical and every ribbon, vase, and leaf placement matters.

Step 5: Event Day Execution

On the day of the event, our team transforms the space. We install arrangements, adjust placements to complement lighting and flow, and add finishing touches that elevate the design.

From grand floral installations to small table arrangements, our goal is consistency and perfection throughout the venue. Seeing everything come together is truly magical, and it’s the moment we love most when we're bringing the vision in the mood board to life in real time.

Step 6: Celebrating the Details

After the final touches, we take a step back and enjoy the space alongside our clients.
