Description
Our Watermelon Peperomia is potted in a lightweight and durable terracotta colour ceramic planter, featuring a fun bubble texture that adds an extra touch of personality to your decor.
With its easy care and low maintenance, this Watermelon Peperomia is perfect for any level of plant enthusiast. Simply place it in a bright, indirect light spot, water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and watch it thrive.
Care Instructions
Light | Watermelon Peperomia prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can burn the leaves. Place your plant near a window that receives bright, indirect light, or use a grow light if necessary. |
Water |
Prefers to be kept moderately moist but not soaking wet. Water it thoroughly when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch. Do not allow the soil to become completely dry, as this can cause the plant to wilt and eventually die. |
Soil | These plants prefer well-draining soil that retains some moisture. A mix of peat moss, perlite, and sand is a good option. |
Temperature | Silver Satin Philodendrons prefer temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). |
Humidity | Watermelon Peperomia prefers moderate to high humidity levels. You can increase humidity by placing a humidifier near the plant, misting it regularly, or placing a tray of water near it. |
Toxicity |
Watermelon Peperomia is non-toxic to cats, dogs, and horses. However, it's always a good idea to keep any plant out of reach of pets to avoid accidental ingestion, which can cause mild stomach upset or other health issues. |
