Care Instructions
Light | Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves. If the light is too low, the plant may become leggy and lose its vibrant colours. |
Water | Likes to be kept evenly moist but not overly wet. Water your plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Be careful not to overwater, as this can cause root rot. Allow the water to drain out of the pot completely after watering. |
Soil | Prefers well-draining soil. Use a rich, peat-based potting soil with perlite or sand to improve drainage. |
Temperature | Prefers warm temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C). Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 50°F (10°C) or sudden temperature changes. |
Humidity | Prefers moderate to high humidity levels. If the air in your home is dry, you can increase humidity by placing a humidifier near the plant or by placing a tray of water near the plant. |
Toxicity |
Philodendron Pink Princess contains calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause mild to moderate toxicity in pets if ingested. This can cause irritation, swelling, and redness of the mouth, tongue, and lips, as well as vomiting and diarrhea. |
